February 2020 Real Estate Market Report from the Samuel Team

The Samuel Team at John R. Wood Properties is pleased to announce the February Market Report for Naples, Bonita Springs and Marco Island. The impact of the corona virus pandemic on the Southwest Florida real estate market remains to be seen. History tells us that when market conditions, the economy, and consumer confidence are strong going into an unforeseen event, we typically demonstrate a remarkable ability to recover quickly once the storm has passed. Through February, our sales numbers remained strong. Sales on a 12-month rolling basis posted an 8.9% gain, while both February and year-to-date sales were up over 21% compared to the same periods last year. By March 1st decreases in new listing activity, brought the number of available properties down to 3,555 and moved overall months of supply to 5.39 months.
